microchip_implantWe offer the AVID Microchip System which provides a safe, effective, and inexpensive method to identify your pet if it ever becomes lost or stolen. The procedure is simple and can be performed at any of our scheduled clinics. A tiny chip is implanted into your dog or cat and contains pertinent owner information. With a quick scan of the chip, a vet or animal shelter can immediately tell who the owner is of the lost animal. Your pet’s information will be registered through microchip-closeup-300x248us for the life of your pet. And, unlike some other microchip products, there is no annual fee or additional cost after the initial service.

It is never too late (or too soon) to take this simple, low cost step to help identify your pet if ever lost… It’s a decision you won’t regret! For more information about the AVID microchip, contact our shelter or visit the AVID web site: www.avidid.com.

We are pleased to announce that we are now offering high quality, affordable dental exams and cleanings. It is extremely important to care for your pet’s teeth. Because our pets can’t brush their teeth, dental disease is quite common and poor oral hygiene can cause serious health issues for your cat or dog such as cardiac, renal, or liver disease.

To schedule dental work, an initial $20 screening exam is required. Call us at 517-552-8050  to schedule the appointment. Dental exams are done on Mondays. For pets 8 and older, a pre-dentistry blood test is necessary. Once our vet has examined your pet, she can give you details on pricing and schedule an appointment..

Regular dental exams can help your animal live a long, healthy life!

Please note that for spaying/neutering services, we do require appointments. For more on spaying/neutering services, click here.
