Engines were revved up as car owners made their way to our fourth Cruisin’ for Critters Friday, July 8th at the Genoa Township Hall. Food, music, bidding on silent auction items, and more fun was had with our staff, volunteers, and friends-well until a thunderstorm cut the evening short-but fun nonetheless! A big thank you to The Big Cheese for making a unique neon sign for our raffle!
Many, many thanks to our volunteers for preparations and working the event. Thanks to the following: Carole Bullion, Sue Nichols and Sue Lee and Dinah for planning the event, Dinah and Jay Fitzsimons for providing food and cooking hot dogs, to Carol Malek and daughter Layne and Dinah for preparing the “goodie” bags, to Josee Adams for her work in the setup and take down of the tents, for Kathy Sobiesiak and Sue Nichols for selling tickets and to Carole Bullion for acting as emcee. And a very special thank you to Deb Drick, our director, for singing with guitarist and singer Rob! As always, we very much appreciate Dr. Laura Balli, our vet for initiating Cruisin” and helping us each year! Check out this year’s photos of the event!
